  I've a dip in IT but chose to enter a foreign bank as their service consultant in call center environment , the qns they ask includes:
  
  "what are your objectives in the banking line ?" which i thought was totally irrelevant because firstly i'm not exposed to banking and secondly the job scope is answering inbound calls from worldwide clients.
  
  and the qns of the day was "convince me that you can take up this challenging job which we are looking for highly determined individuals to join our bank" ... in my mind this answer appears "whether i'm a suitable candidate a not, its for u to observe during the course of work. If i promote myself to be suitable but yet i might not appear to be so then isnt it better to be frank ?" I don't like the idea of "selling" myself as a product ... extremely fake leh

  once i went for interview for a 1-month temp job as a warehouse assistant, and the job scope is to carry and stack boxes of wines.
  
  i wasnt expecting a really serious sort or interview after all its only 1 month job and the job is sort of juz physical no-need-brain work.
  
  then the interviewer started to ask me to describe myself, and most importantly to state my strengths and weaknessees in areas of my character, personality, etc etc.
  
  i laughed out loud on the spot
  
  perhaps i should have told her i came in 2nd in world's strongest men competition..
  
  and no, i din get the job
