Private Instituition for Private O Level.

Me this year gonna take my 2006 O level result. I wanna take Pure Chemistry leh.
I wanna find an instituition which offers Pure Chemistry and Practical. The cost is not an issue.
Me gonna take the Pure Chemistry so as to get into a diploma which I want after 5 year.
My I suggest the route is
the dip which I dont like(3 years) --> NS (2 years) --> the dip which I like(3 years).
But I am not sure about this route leh.
[deferment]1 year for private O level (1 year) --> [disruption]dip which I like(3 years) --> NS(2 years). -

ya. I predicted my result will be
EL 6
Math 1
Science(Chem, Bio) 1
Principles Of Accounts 1
Combined Humanities 9
Total = 18 +/-
If I take private O Level Chem this year, my combined O level result will me
EL 6
Math 1
Science(Chem,Bio) 1
Principle of Account 1
Pure Chem 1
Total=10
This gives me 100% chance of getting into the course.
Compare 18 with 10, which is better? -

Yes, with combined science, i will be able to join most poly course. If I take up Pure Chem, my result will be 10 points. With 10 points, I can get into the course which I like.
That's why I am asking if this route is possible or not?

Are you a boy and are you going to be 18 this year (means this year haven't birthday, still 17 1/2 years old)? IF yes, most likely u can defer NS for this year private insituition but after that u have to go NS (since you already reached 1 then can go poly.
Anyway, you should wait for result to release at somewhere next month. Anyway, why do u have only 5 subjects? I thought the minimum you should have is 6.
For me, I should be the one worrying. I now worry whether I can pass my science or not, darn.... seeing someone who worry about getting 18 marks makes me feel bad. -

I don't think I can defer if u go for 1 year private insituition. Since you are already 18 and not doing anything during 2008 after 1 year private insituition, i see no reason why NS will let u defer.

hmm, don't have have Design and Technology, Food and Nutrient or Principle of Accounts or some other subjects?
Well, I dropped my combined Humanities (never go for O-level exam, practically dropped) and Design and Technology. Why? Cause I never pass the exam before for my whole life. hahaha
I now only left English, chinese, E-maths, A-maths, Combined science and Principles of Accounts (which is barely hanging on the the cliff).
