I thought komodo dragons live in indonesia. And no... I'm not talking about the monitor lizards that is from the reservoir...

If you want to rear a monitor lizard
Good luck with spending on the expenses unless you wish to be irresponsible and kill the poor lizard prematurely before its time. Usually you leave the wild lizards alone because you don't know how they react. How would you like to be placed in a tank for the rest of your life?
You need a big tank /cage at least 4 times their maximum size- those monitor lizards can grow up to 2 m . You need to clean the cage at least once a week. You need to spend money on thermal regulators so that the lizard can choose to warm itself and you need to spend on habitat stuff so that there is enough shelter for it if it decides it wants to be cool . You need to buy food for it and a variety of food. You need to change the water everyday and pick up the leftover food from the cage . You need to spend on Vet expenses if there is actually a vet in Singapore other than the zoo who can treat a lizard. -

last time i heard a myth...dat one should not catch or offend monitor lizard around 12 pm. it was said dat the monitor lizard belongs to Da Peh Gong's pet rootster... if u try to catch it, it will spill poision needle at u.
