Need some advice for further studys..

Hey..Need some advice..Currently i am pursing my diploma..But i am going to grad soon at ard end of march 2007..after tt the path for mi will be NS life..Kk..Got 2 thinking..:
1st)
should i go apply for uni or not..Coz from wat i knw if i apply now(2007), after two years if the sch fees goes up, i will still be paying (2007yr) rate de sch fees..But i am thinkin if i apply right, if i am being enrol, can i request frm ARMY tt i am going to con't my study 1st, after my study ten i come back serve NS again..OR i am must complete my NS 1st b4 they allow mi to go study??
2nd)
should i go work after my army, ten work for mayb 2-3 yrs ten con't for my studys and stop working??
Pls give some serious advice..Need some advice from some working adult, coz i believe many has been in this suituation b4..Really need some advice..Thx alot.. -

Ya. No more sch for u after poly. NS first. then sch.

i suggest studying first then work, unless you are financially stripped. the degree might come in useful when looking for work

Ya..i know of coz ARMY 1st..but when u apply for uni, u have to wait like up to 6 months before u know whether u got enrol or not..So by the time, i think i have already been posted le bahz..IF let's said my result is good and they decided to enrol mi, is there any allowance that they let mi go con't my studys, ten after my studys i go to complete my 1 1/2 yr NS life.Any similar cases??

Negative. You have to serve a minimum requirement of (1yr++ i think) before you can defer.

Yah... and not everyone can defer after serving 1 year... Normally, only the following people can defer: those enrolled in NUS medical school, and those who take government scholarships (e.g. SAF scholarship, MOE scholarship, PSC scholarship, etc). Not being able to defer does't mean the end of the world. You can use the time during NS to read books and to pick up hobbies. You can also register for weekend courses (if you stay in-camp) or night courses (if you stay out-camp) to acquire additional skills and knowledge. I have friends who learned guitar in my camp, and someone in my company even formed a Japanese language learning-group....

Final year at poly will grad in Feb...I dunno if I should go for those part time degree or try for SMU (which i reli love) but I have already started working at my dad's place..He expects me to go full time once I grad...Anyone any idea what to do??

No.2 - You can do part time Degree on evenings. You can work in the day, and study at night. -
Wow..Half working half studying is really really very tough..i experience it b4..i almost cannot take it..Emm..mayb will wait for NS to finish le ten con't study bahz..no choice..haix..
