  my jc time, towards the last few months, i had a poly technic lecturer as a tutor, $450 per month. the guy is very nice, very helpful, but he's not a good tutor, so out of touch with the current jc syllabus. wasted my time and money. but he's a nice man, tried his best to help me. But i feel i could have done without his help.
  
  the morale is, start studying right from day 1. everyday bit by bit, and u will be comfortable during ur exams period. that's the strategy i employ in my university, exams still can watch tv, play games and able to do decently well. regreted i didn't study better in jc, could have gone accountancy or law or medicine and no need do engineering now. but i still enjoy engineering.
