  Eh dude, this is normal phenomenon. This is cause by a lock in the weather system where the cool air is being lock down by the warmer air. It too long to explain in here. When the lock is unlocked, everything will become normal again. As long as the lock is still there, there will be Ice storm. These usually last for a few days, maybe weeks. The entire resource is stretch to the limit.

  Dat 1 got show in Discovery channel in SG.
  
  I do read a magazine in the library on real situations where the whole human race will be wiped out. Never mind the meteor strike, for now Jupiter is protecting us from most of it. There are other possible events like death ray from the spiking of the sun and black hole at event horizon.
