how do you think of this salary policy?

my current company have the habit of 'owing' salary for instance i can only get the salary of previous month on the mid to end of this month but from what i know it is not most company operates and most coys do paid their salaries on time i.e first 5 days of the month the latest.
some of my friends remarked that this company is not stable and i should quit the job to find a better ones, how do you think of this issue? -

ask your accounts clerk colleague secretly. i am sure she knows if the company is in trouble or not.
if you dont feel comfortable, leave.
even if your company is not in trouble the fact that they pay salaries late is enough reason for you to look for another job. -
i should say that my coy always pay salaries at least 15 days late as last month it was only on the 19th of December that the salaries for the entire of November was paid. my company also give me pay ..delay 1 to 2 weeks sometimes 3 weeks..
but ok lei..since im only pasting time..dont really care as long they give n the amount is correct

Check the salary period of ur company. Example, the salary period is from the 1st of the month to the 31st of the month, they cannot delay ur pay till after the first 10 working days of the following month...This is with accordance with the Employment's Act if I am not wrong...
Ya, check with the accounts side to see if there is really anything wrong with the company's finance....Start flipping the Classified section...

btw last month when i receiving the mass email informing the employees about the pay they did mentioned something like "we just got our confirmed funds and we will pay your november salary on the 19th etc etc', does it means that the coy was having any cashflow problems? -
i found this on my company's intranet
Staff's monthly salary will be credited to your personal bank account by the 25th of each month. It will be paid in advance if the 25th falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday.
if that's the case then i should have gotten my salary for december before christmas somemore the email that i received last month only mentioned about the salary in November, not December. -
it has been confirmed that my coy is having a serious financial problem as i heard from a staff there.
the company have been owing salary on and off during the past 2 years with one occasions owing 5 months of salary.
the company have not been doing well in the past 2 years or so
the company get rejected by one of the banks for bank loans.
if lucky, i can get my salary for last month by this week, otherwise i can only get it by the beginning of feb which also means my salary for jan will be delayed as well
many ppl have been leaving the coy due to such situations -
get a new job
