Prefer freedom ... less burden... bringing
a kid up also need a lot of money....

my mum also say that.. whether the kid turn out gd or bad, it more depends on how u raise them up.. but nowadays the kids are realy diffcult to raise.. treat them too gd, will become pampered, spolilt child.. a bit strict to them, then they will be nasty to u when u grow old... and may even sue u back.. kids nowadays are becoming more and more rebellious. i also wun tik of having kids cos i don noe how to take care of them..Originally posted by used:it depends on how u raise them -

Some or most may reason that children will be good for us when we grow old. Yes true to certain extent, but with foreigners filling up our schools and uni, taking up all jobs in the market accepting low low salaries, if you have kids - in future they are likely to be struggling along hand-to-mouth just to survive here - how are they able to take care of you EFFECTIVELY without you becoming a burden to them???
Best is, save like crazy right now for old age. Forget Medisave, or CPF or whatever crap the gov calls "safety net" - it's all an illusion. Create your own reality with your own money.
If you stay on, whatever's in the CPF or Medisave is as good as gone. -
