Actually its all quite logic.
The girl has mixed feelings 4 the guy(Sometimes feel she does like him, sometimes not. Shes confused.Her feelings not strong 4 him). At that moment she kissed him, maybe she her feelings were in the 'i do like this guy' mode.or she had juz been hurt by some other guy juz needed some comfort.
The moment the guy wanted to kiss her back, she woke up from reality.(If a guy you love does such a sweet gesture 2 u, u wun reject de)
She went home, thought seriously and finally decided she does not like the guy really. And she should not lead him on anymore
The whole story has nothing to do with kissing forehead or holding her wherever.

basically, the reason is simple why this occur:
1) girl, for some reason, wants to end this relationship. probably due to studies, parent's strong objections/threats, external factors.
2) she needs to find excuse for guy to make any move that she can pinpoint. so, she kiss the guy, because she knows all men are lustful and will take the opportunity to kiss back(men's thinking is like "whoa! girl kiss me! now i must kiss back and get on to ****ing and making babies liao, sow my seeds in her loh!!!!!!!).
3) as expected, the silly fool really go and return a kiss.
4) now the girl got super good excuse to say she's "traumatised", "confused", "emotionally raped" and "sexually assualted in an indirect manner" etc. so, she pretend to get really scared and angry and ask for break-up.
5) girl celebrates, because she's happy her plan works. cunning are women's hearts, but it's natural, cos' since girls are weaker, they tend to rely on brains for survival, compared to men. at least, that's the law of nature, rule no. 666. -

So i assumed that she kissed him on his cheek and he went on to kiss her forehead as he might not know what to do as the kiss was a sudden gesture.
So I feel that it might be the reason behind it. So far, no one has pointed this out. -
