I really have to take H2 math even though I have to struggle, if not I'm closing the doors of a lot of courses in the uni.Originally posted by Yaimster:it will be hard, since it is now called H2 Maths. Some F Maths topics are transferred to H2 Maths. Like finding angles of 3-D Vectors, Regression and Collrelation (This also appeared in H1 as well :evil, among others.
Dont take H2 Maths, unless you really like Maths and you dont have any other H2 subjects to choose from.
I don't know about the old system, since I'm the pioneer batch to take this H1/H2 thing (my A's are this year), so whether anyone have survived H2 maths without prior experience in A Maths is unknown yet.Originally posted by sir sickolot II:I agree it will be tough, not only intially but throughout... but many people before you have done it.. so why not you?
really? I thought all engine courses requires h2 maths and physics apart from chem engineOriginally posted by Yaimster:it will be hard, since it is now called H2 Maths. Dont take H2 Maths, unless you really like Maths and you dont have any other H2 subjects to choose from. Many Engineering courses in Unis now only require a H1 Pass in Maths (that's the minimumof course, you need to do well in others subjects la, that's why you need to choose your subjects to read carefully).
Need H2 Maths and Physics to take engineering courses.Originally posted by aloof_guy:really? I thought all engine courses requires h2 maths and physics apart from chem engine
I did that. Took ALL their notes.Originally posted by secretliker:Borrow AMaths notes from your friends - I'm assuming that a lot of people around you took AMaths.
Get them to tuition you.
Borrow the Ten Year Series and practice.
It would not be easy at first, but at some point, everything would be understood eventually. This happened to me at my O levels when I suddenly grasped my AMaths.
Ya.. But it isnt easy to be solved once mixed together.Originally posted by secretliker:Mathematics at academic level is not difficult.
If you look at it, everything are but some symbols, diagrams, concepts and formulae.
Will get it some day.![]()
Repeating is something I wanna avoid at ALL cost.Originally posted by sinicker:can survive one.
at worse, repeat only mah... like my friend who didnt take a maths in sec sch.

Physics requirement for taking computing? It doesnt applies to my current JC leh. You sure a prerequisite for computing is physics?Originally posted by enemychaser:AFAIK, physics is a requirement for taking computing. So if you don't have it, prepare to drop computing as well. One suggestion I'd have if you used to take combined sciences is take H1 physics instead and take H2 econs. The difference between H2 and H1 econs isn't really that big, just content wise stuff only. Or you can just try to take 4 H2 then drop whichever one you want at the end of JC1, saves you the thinking![]()
