Save the book!

You know how sometimes ironing a piece of paper can make it 'wavy'?
My sis used my textbook (!!) as her mousepad.
Her mouse is wireless so it generates a lot of heat.
Furthermore it was placed beside the laptop!
Now my textbook is wavy and so unflippable!
It used to be so nice and flippy.
I don't even want to use it for studying now.
Any cure?

I tried putting it in the freezer for a while because I thought the paper just expanded. But I think it probably dried up from the heat.
Will attempting to put back moisture (e.g. putting a loaf of bread with the book in a sealed box) help?

if you bake chewy cookies and they become dry after a while of storing them, i think you can put a slice of bread into the cookie tin to restore some moisture in them
anyway i went and flipped my book like a thousand times
now it's slightly better
if anyone has any good ideas, post here okie

they're always so well-taken care of, you'll suspect if i ever used them
