how are we to know if the telcos charge us more than what we use?
they'll always have a case against us cause they are those with the records right?
And if someone decides to take action,
------After 165164685464 minutes of waiting --------------
Operator: Good Afternoon, XXX speaking. How can i assist you?
Consumer: Can i have the breakdown of the calls i made over the period of XXX?
Operator: No problem, Sir. However, there would be an administrative charge of S$30 (exclusive of GST).
*Possible consequence 1*
And the user will probably think its not worth it and decides against the idea, leaving the telcos to have their way, since S$30+ is more than what he would use in a month anyway. He'd probably use that amount to settle next month's bill. And the telcos (should they be dishonest) reign free.

Haven't you guys have experienced these kind of 'i-only-made-so-many-number-of-calls-so-why-the-hell-am-i charged-so-much?' type of incidents?
Even if that is theoretically not possible (perhaps with audits and all), would anyone kind of like to share which of the 3 telcos here charge the highest or airtime outside the free duration stipulated in contracts? Any idea how much, with the limited number of plans we all subscribe to nowadays?
I'm subscribed to this telco which i feel charges me astronomical amounts for the little time i'm on the phone. Didn't have this problem when i was with the other. Do share your experiences.
Let's say you are taking m1's suntalk 150 plan. If you divide your free talk time equally btw say 30 days of the month, you only have 5 mins a day if you are the one doing the calling.
Which is not a lot. Are you underestimating the amount of time you spend on your phone?
