Hmmm I don't use credit card and only debit card... 10K in each card to be use for 6 months....
Credit card very hard to control.. i have 6 debit card with around 30k.... My highest spending is $500 weekly for a period of 6 months.... -

My monthly credit card bill is usually under US$50, but if I'm travelling or on vacation, it can spike upwards to nearly US$500.
I don't like using credit cards and prefer to pay for my purchases with cash or a check, but you might not have a choice for some transactions (for example, paying for merchandise purchased from a mail order vendor). I do, however, make it a point to pay off all my credit card debts when they become due, and consequently have never had to pay any interest on them. -

Like there is rebate from citibank if i shop in tangs using their credit cards, and discount for petrol when i use another.
my monthly bill ranges from $1.4k to $2k. fully paid every month. -

Just to clarify
The bank does not aim to earn from you for late charges and the main idea is not about earning the interest. It's more about the flow of money rather than anything else. Not saying the bank totally doesn't earn from interest, but it's not the objective. -

dun buy things unnecessarily lah! do you know sometimes we can save $ by paying cash? For eg, last year I bought my PC by paying cash and the price was lower than that when one pays by credit card.
