How much does winter wear cost?

May be going to china next month.
I think the temperature may be around 15degrees till april.
Does anyone has any idea on how much a set of winter clothing will cost in singapore? Thanks for the feedback.

Hmm, if abt 15 degrees.. just a good warm jacket and thermal leggings should do.
I bought a good solid jacket for my hubby, $100++ nia.. can detach certain portions to suit the temperature/weather.. should be U2 at Taka B1 if I'm not wrong. Most other stores that carry budget winterwear sell outdated styles, or the material's not good. That was last year though.. could be worth to checkitout to see if they've got new stock/styles.
As for the thermal leggings, doesn't really matter where u get em, price about the same in most shops. -
My colleagues just came back from tianjin a week or so back, temperatures was -5 on a good day.

For a decent winter coat, a full polyester short coat can cost from $75 onwards. Be prepared to pay $120++ for those with mixed filling, e.g duck down feathers.
Depending on how cold it is, you may need other things like thermal wear, wool socks, gloves (try Thinsulate brand - those knitted ones are useless for winter temperatures). If the temp is around 15 deg C (note: windchill factor), you probably won't need the thermal wear, wearing an extra t-shirt inside will do. -

u can go to queenstown mrt there, when you sit on the mrt, nearing that station, you'll see a old torn building with a bowling alley, walk inside a bit, you'll see a NTU, but don't go inside, follow the side of the staircase, walk inside a bit more, than you'll see a stair case leading to 2nd story, up there is a winter clothes store selling a lot of winter clothes.Originally posted by dark_snowboy:May be going to china next month.

15 degree!!??? Like air con like that... need winter wear? I think even your fridge is colder... when I went venice last time its was below 20 I see the ang mo all wear abit more... only two singaporean wearing like summer... hhahaha But turn out ok...
