22 Too Old To Learn Violin?

Normally i see, violinist start off when they are young. Wonder am I too old to learn...

hmm. i started violin when i was 11. engage a private tutor at the music schools luh. 1 to 1. 22 is not old lah. it's just that your fingers are stiffer but regular practice will make it up.
maybe you might wanna consider a viola which sounds mellower and bigger in size. i'm using a size 4/4.
anyway, i was from symphony music which is also in cwp. there's a old chinese male teacher there. i can't remember his name. he's very good. -

and how much for a decent tutor and violin... i think its an expensive hobby to begin with... -
my friend has a private teacher, and its about 140/+- a month. the teacher goes to his house and he's a grade 1.
you have to ask around lor. prices vary. go music school cheaper, or go CC.
when i was 11, it was around $80 for 4 lessons each month, 30 mins each lesson. -

is never too late to learn anything in life.. as long as u have the passion..
guys who know how to play volin, piano, cello are damn charming... -
anyway, i stopped violin when i was about 14. without taking any exams because my violin teacher advised me not to? yeah.
i'm sure there are other violinists around in sgf. ask around for prices or looking into yellow pages or classified for teachers.
and you machine-made violins are fairly cheap. you can easily get a 188$ one from any music schools or cheaper. -

and i love the way violinist move when they play a score...

nope not too old. I learnt when I was 20 (around after poly).. But stop after a year as I got a full-time job and studying part time... I still have passion for it though. May pick it up again in the near future (hopefully) BTW, I took up classes at Cristofori, individual lesson.
