I'm dead serious. I thought most Singaporeans speak Hokkien, like Penang?Originally posted by Eric Cartman:Ignore aku1b0d0. He is a joke account.
Most of us know how to speak mandarin (if of chinese race). Many people also know hokkien, but many only know the popular swear words.
You thought wrong. You're a malay aren't you? Maybe you dont know how to differentiate mandarin and hokkien.Originally posted by aku1b0d0:I'm dead serious. I thought most Singaporeans speak Hokkien, like Penang?
I'm seriously not a racist. I don't know much Chinese language, but I know how to differentiate both. mandarin always has the "sh' or 'ch' sound ryte?Originally posted by Eric Cartman:You thought wrong. You're a malay aren't you? Maybe you dont know how to differentiate mandarin and hokkien.
That's only if the speaker bothers. Most of us are too lazy to even move our tongues a little when we speak to make the "sh" and "ch". That's how we differentiate a chinaman from a singaporean.Originally posted by aku1b0d0:I'm seriously not a racist.
