  There rich and poor ppl here, anyway it's depend when u buy yr car and how often you use it. Now at this point, the price is much lower compare to few years back. It's also depend where you work, if in CBD, I think you better take cab. And if you have kids, then it's even more useful. The point is having a car is to cut down time wasted on wait bus or cab, on the other words is you r using $$ to buy time and car is just a tool.

  Those ppl is like "monkey see, monkey do". See so many of their friends have car they also wan. Then the population of car in singapore will bcum more and more. Tat is why every morning and evening, you'll see traffic jams.

  i don tik owning a car is necessary. as in, we are not living in a big country like america where we have to drive to get to the places we want.. somemore owning a car in singapore is so expensive. have to pay for this and that.. not worth it la..
