Should i buy my text books here in Sg?

  Hey guys,
  
  I will be starting school in Feb soon. Managed to see the book list i have. Some are presscribed and others recommended. However, went to bras basah and could only find editions dated 2 or 3 versions back. Was wondering should i get? I could save alot as compared to buying rband new over in Australia. Btw, im taking finance.

  You can get 2nd hand textbooks at less than half price from the uni you will studying in. Those who have graduated or finish their semesters sell them to the student guild of the uni and resell them back cheap. And after you're done with it, you sell them back yourself. That way, you can save a fortune.
