I have the SR 80 for a year now...... Worth it....
Adelphi , look for this shop "Music by Design"
Cost $170 for SR 80 -
the good part of Grado phones is that u can use it for almost anything Discman, PC, DVd, home theatre and regular Tv progs.. they all will sound great...
It has a wide sound.......good treble...and mid bass....... -

TO have that sound, Grado headphones have to made that way...so looks are sacrificed...but i can gurantee u u will not get this sound at such cheap price...
Try to buy SR 80 becos its much better than 60..... -
These Grado headphones are seldom found in shops...very few places carry it..so if i see one just buy it.....
And like only 1 or 2 shops in Adelphi carry them..and that time i wanted to buy it became out of stock..they have limited stocks..so dunt wait.....If u get can, get the SR 125 and above ..that is if u have lots of $..but the lowest u get is SR 80 if u are on budget......DUnt get 60.. -

Anything above is for audiophiles.....If u are a normal music listerner who only touch MP3, movies and Cds. then u get SR 125 is already high enough.
Anything above is for other purposes like studio profesisonals...To get their desired high range sound of those higher models, u need to have the right equiment which i guess home users will not have.., if else dunt bother buying just for kanchong sake..u wasting $ only..
Also u can maximise SR 80 sound if u have amplifier and such thngs also... -

American or european made speakers and music equiment are the best...

To Rejected, I think if u go to Adelphi, chances are will be out of stock for SR 80
so just take name card and ask them to call u when new ones come..
The guy there is quite ok.
