It's not fair, since the good ones are either sent abroad or 'hidden' behind the bad ones. People tend to see the negative side of youths and never reflect themselves before talking about others. We only follow what we see, which is obviously, adults.

community workers..some colleges have interact club that provides community service..SIngapore needs caring people like them to build a nation. -

Actually, the current generation of youth have negative attitudes cos they have been spoilt by parents and the govt. Red Hill ? Beach road? or Toa payoh?
do you think reporting those negative story or news the paper can sell?
It is more of any kind of project youth can do?
some youth went for oversea expedition, they each carry about 4 red bricks with them fly into that country? did the newspaper report this stupid trip?
if national youth council get to know, will they ask more question? -

you haven't seen good teens yet. or maybe you're in an environment that doesn't let you see/interact with good teens.

i agree with quite a bit. seems like teens today are drifting away. many who are successful go away to seek 'better' lives elsewhere, forgeting where they actually root from. but then again these are the minorities, but it's becoming more and more apparent.
