PSP: ver 1.5 or 2.8

  Plan to buy psp in the near future but quite confuse abt the version thingy. What i know is that 1.5 can play downloaded games but cannot play the newer games and 2.8 can play newer games but cannot play those download one..
  
  so you can actually download a program to help both version to recognize the certain type of games to play.. is that right? so which one should i buy? 2.8 or 1.5. Any one knows where can get the best bargain?

  1.5 la...can use the 3.02 software. ie ur version is still 1.5 but still gort 3.02 de features.
  as for where 2 buy..i dun know

  don't buy 1.5. expensive. u go buy 2.81 i help u mod. cheaper like that. plus i got ahem games.

  both versions same. if u get 2.8, u can downgrade back to 1.5. jus that u need the almighty GTA LCS unpatched ( which i have 1 :twisted. now the best firmware is 3.03 OE-C so if u want to get this firmware, jus go to 1.5 and then use the easy upgrader to 3.03 OE-C. other versions to 3.03 OE-C have risk of making it bricked.
