Hey..wanna check with u all that, when we reach chinatown, after we pass by pearl's centre there's a old police station right?? it's no longer in use right?? Wat's the former name of tt police station?? Does anyone of u know..where can i get the history of it?? any story abt tt old police station?? Or does anyone of u enter before after it's being abandon??

was there to see see look look with my fellow guides.
was given a briefing on crime prevention, and also a showcase of some stuff inside.
can't remember the name tho. -
confirm la. If its the building along the main road it is the old CID, behind is the old Police headquaters, CNB and police station.
Now all shift to cantoment complex already.

Anyone know where to get the history of tt building??i guess it's the OLD CID..facing road side de..I hav been into it b4..in a legal way..no worries..but inside the condition is like it has been whack before lor..those lighting is dangling, the basic is damage..But by right, if ppl wanna tre pass in is quite impossible right??Or Anyone been into it b4??or any story to share abt it?? only knew it's famous for catching those ppl who took drug.. no matter it's ghost story or history..quite interested to know..

SLA identifies 6 state properties to be tenanted out for office use

SINGAPORE: The Singapore Land Authority (SLA) has identified six state properties to be tenanted out solely for office use, in the first half of this year.
SLA says the move is line with the government's recent initiative to make more office space available to meet the needs of financial institutions and other business services.
This is the first time that SLA is letting out state properties solely for office use.
The total estimated gross floor area to be let out is about 43,000 square metres.
Of the six properties, three are located within the Central Business District.
Most are former institutional buildings that were last used as government offices or former schools.
They come with a range of allowable tenures from three to nine years.
The six state properties in the pipeline are:
a) 195 Pearl's Hill Terrace, former Police HQ
b) 18 Pearls' Hill Terrace, former training centre
c) 150 Cantonment Road, former Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB)
d) 341 River Valley Road, former River Valley Primary School
e) 1801 Upper Changi Road North, former CAAS Office
f) 991 Alexandra Road, former ITE Pasir Panjang
