  If they so capable, why they ask for China's help during the Japanese invasion in late AD 1500s? Again, ask for China's help in 1894? Then during the Korean war, China go help them and lost the chance to claim back Taiwan. The reward? A pre-20 minutes warning before thei nuclear test. Thanks, ingrateful bastards.
  
  I don't blame them for claiming Dragonboat festival as a cultural hertiage. After all, how many Chinese family still make their own rice dumpling nowadays? I feel very strange that they claim that they invented Chinese character, it's like they are trying to be funny.
