  its defintely not healthy for the hermit crabs.. Crabs "groom" their shells and often will chip pieces off to make more suitable-- they can and do often eat the shell pieces they groom off. try eating nippon chicken rice ...

  Depends, but some people are allergic to it. Anyway, robber crabs are the largest genus of hermit crabs in the world and they don't need shells to survive.

  got. j8 got one station selling the hermit crabs somemore. not cheap for the whole set leh. about 60?

  If it's natural plant dyes, it just enhances the crab appearance.

  some plant are toxic also wor.. they say its non-toxic paint.. but it applies to humans.. not hermit crabs..

  Did I say paint? Do you know the difference between natural plant dye and non-toxic paint?

  Well, those on Haha crabs looked to glossy & colourful to be natural plant dyes. Kind of like nail polish to me. Don't bash me. It's just my judgement from what I see. I'm not 100% sure.

  plant dye on the shell or hermit? dont start on plants with me. I am a grad on horticulture. its likewise for paint and dye. it might be non toxic for humans, but not hermit crabs.
