inhabited by men of different nationalities, with different pets and
drinks. Each man smokes a different kind of pipe tobacco.
1. The Englishman lives in the house with the red door.
2. The Spaniard owns the dog.
3. Coffee is drunk in the house with the green door.
4. The Ukranian drinks tea.
5. The house with the green door is immediately to the right
(your right) of the house with the ivory door.
6. The Pall Mall smoker owns snails.
7. Marlboros are smoked in the house with the yellow door.
8. Milk is drunk in the house in the middle.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house on the far left.
10. The man who smokes Winston lives in the house next to the
man with the fox.
11. Marlboros are smoked in the house next to the house where
the horse is kept.
12. The Flake smoker drinks orange juice.
13. The Japanese smokes Rough Cut.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the house with the blue door.
Now, who drinks water?
And... who owns the zebra? -

dun just guess lets work out...Norwegian lives in the yellow door and they smoke Marlboros...they live on the far left end next to the blue door who owns horse... since horse fox snails and dogs are owned by ppl on the right hand side of blue door , it means that only Norwegian which is on the left hand side of blue door is the only one that is left out thus they own zebra which is not stated throughout the thing. Next flake smoker drinks orange juice and milk is drank in the middle of the five house and its either spaniard or englishman who drinks orange juice since flake smoker drinks orange juice whereas Norwegian smokes Marlboro ,jap smokes rough cut and ukranian drinks tea. Next coffee is drank by green door. we cant specifically work out who drinks what but all the descriptions given are only concentrated on the houses on the right hand side of blue door and norwegian is the only one left out thus it can be logically concluded that Norwegian drinks water.
