I had enough of their bloody renovation, it has been 2 freaking months, that the renovation has been going on, the freaking noise produce by the drilling and knocking and etc, it is so annoying that i really wanted to buy myself a bloody chainsaw, and recreate the texas chainsaw massacre scene.

who renovating? Ur neighbour or your flat undergoing upgrading?
If its your neighbour - go HDB comprain him. if upgrading, who ask you go vote for upgrading the other time? make sure your block don't have 75% can liaoz mah.... -

don't stay at home during the day.

buy a ear plug from the artillery camp.

start walking aroud market and collect the egg tray. paste it around your house, can prevent noise.

in case anything happen and drop on your
head , you still have protection over your

or best go for full battle order .. with boots etc

Renovation works have it's own permit and if it doesn't overshot the designated hours for heavy work, no complains will work anything.
Just got to bear with it. -
invest on proffesional speakers, and request FIFI to play SMS everyday, and on it loud

actually if your neighbour / contractor has applied for a permit, he can do renovations (i.e. make noise) during daytime - unless he also do reno during weekends or at night, you'll have a case against him.
in that case, you just have to bear with it loh....HDB has been doing so well that the walls have grown thinner these days for HDB flats...haha....alternatively, do some reno during this time as well loh...so its noise + noise = music.... -
if u cant tahan them, join them! renovate ur house too!

i am renting a room, they always disturb my morning, which happens to be my bed time, nbcb, really get on my nerves so much.

lol, its a hassle to do so, maybe at most i play prank when they finish renovation, and let them have a taste of their own medicine since they disturb my beauty sleep for so long
