Yesterday watched the show what fairy thingy... kaoz a show like that also can make it to the big tv ar? Mediacorpse really run out of ideals issit? The story line really KNS one leh..... First series 2 naked guy appeared... kaoz I think how dumb can it ever gets..... It is not FUNNY not the least lor... It is not Exciting... and definitely not interesting... maybe people watch just to see Fiona and Jamie tat's all... -

Mediacorp and the main stream have always been crap. That's why I prefer to support the indies (iIIndependent) artistes who are much more artistic......

Like getting hongkong scriptwriters to come stay in singapore
for a few years to get good scripts and better quality programs?
Change the "Lao Ban" of MediaCoooooooooorp program director?

We are not in shortage of artiste, but we are in the desperate zone for
creative people in variety shows or scriptwriters, I guess. -
If Singapore is still going to stifle academic freedom or discourage free expression, it is hard to be creative.
No doubt advanced mathematics is important, but you don't quite need it for basic survival. Too much emphasis on sciences turns people into zombies. -

though the parody content is rather dry and lacking in depth.

It depends on what you mean by creativity ah. Singapore mostly Chinese people, Chinese good at improvising other people's things and making them more efficient, cheaper to manufacture etc. That can be called creativity too to some people.

Ya, I also want to complain.
Especially since it is a state company.
Since it is a state company, it should express and represent the society, not the desires of a small group.
Too much copying western shows.....Dance Floor....Girls Out Loud....copycats.
I wish they can be more creative and come up with indigenious concepts relevant to Singapore.
