DAE is for foreigners, those who did not meet course requirements (differ from poly to poly) and those who are not offered a place.
Like SP, only if you fail English and get distinctions for Maths and Science, they consider. RP, as long as you don't meet, you can try DAE.
Anything below D7 for EMS, can forget about it.
