If ive got a serious idea of a board game, and have drawn up blueprints and a manual, etc for it and maybe would consider contacting a board game company, preferably locally or an internatiol company based in SG, ie. Parker Brothers (Monopoly) to help me improve, manufacture and market it, whom do i go to in Singapore?
My board game is a cross between the PC games CnC: RA and COH. Never thought of a name for it yet.
IMO board games around the world are in a state of decadence, are under utilized, especially in Singapore, because the variety here is limited to Monopoly, Risk, Cluedo and the more mundane ones. Actually board games are healthy and can be very fun and good means to unwind and socialise.
Ive played other 'non-mainstream' board games like Hotel, Doom and such. I still think that board games still are not being tapped to their full potential and thus Ive designed my current one.
Actually I did design a few simple board games when I was in Primary School but stopped for a very long time due to loss of interest.
Actually, I wont be very surprised if somewhere in the world, someone has already had my idea a long time ago and already created one such game. And though many people think board games are all about luck, actually the best ones minimize such cases, and promotes strategic thinking and ideas
Any links or advice is appreciated.

You can try this
http://www.vanderveergames.com a singapore based boardgame company.
Or you can get into the boardgame scene in Singapore at

Generally, there are a lot more boardgames available in Singapore than what u have listed.. go to
http://www.boardgamegeek.com and
http://www.bgdf.com (boardgame designers' forum) to look at what is available around the world and whether your idea has already been done before.
