Movie Entrance Age Limits

Recently went out with my cousin who was to be 16 in a weeks time from the day we attempted to watch "Blood Diamond" which was a NC-16 show... The ticket counter refused to sell the tickets unless he turned 16 on the day itself... What do they believe in? That he would become more mature in a week's time? And they expect us to not support piracy

It may suck hard. But its the goverment's law.
For what ever reasons. Its still their law. You cant really do anything about it.
And if you noticed. Now a days half of the shows are NC16 and above. -

It's also depending whether the ticketing office officer is willing to close an eye to the few days differences.
It is a ruling that they deny entry to those below the age limit, even if it's going to be 1 day or 1 week. Not that the patrons will be 'enlightened' overnight, it's a law that binds in their license. No vendor would want to risk having demerit points over a few bucks. -
