Tarantula make good pets. Some can live up to 30years.
Their bites arent deadly. Worst to worst you get fever and a swollen hand. There are really a few really passive species of tarantula.
Like mexican fireleg and chilean rose. They cant run fast and dont bite. And you can actually put them on ur hand for them to crawl slowly.
They are some really agressive type too, like the brazilian bird eating tarantula, or the blue colbat. Both species are extreamly fast and aggresive.
Only experienced people can handle them well.
Most of the tarantulas wont bite unless they are provoked or hungry. Its easy to feed them too, 6~8 crickets a month is enough.
Unlike fishes and tortise. You only need to wash their tank once a month. -
