05.*1500=0.2*f
f=3750n

do u recall anything?
1500 x 4 = F x 0.3
F = 2000 N
1500N to move over a horizontal distance of 0.4m
2000N to move up 0.3 m
Use pythagoras theorem -
using principle of moments,
total anti-clockwise moments = total clockwise moments
F * 0.3 = 1500 * 0.4
F = 2000N

the 0.4 is the horizontal distrance from step to the weight acting downwards.
Therefore, if F more than 2000N, than the anti-clockwise moment will be more than the clockwise moment caused by the weight, and will than rotate to overcome the step.
