Sit down and play. and ask a person whos quite good at mahjong to sit beside u and guide you, but you ownself must play abit also, cannot follow what he/she tells u to do. Anything duno, ask.

Ask ur frens explain to u the dos and donts...How to eat...How to peng...How to hu...And what is considered zha hu...Go thru all...Try to memorize...
Then u are ready for practical lessons...
