it on Today newspaper 17 feb 2007. it about this old lady who slogged all her life to put her son through medical school yet in the end the son dumped her...
All cause of the job that the old lady is still holding on.. As a cleaner.... come on without her working as a cleaner.. do he think he still have the finanical need to be a doctor...
Why could someone be so cruel to his own mother?

If I remember reading the article correctly, the daughter-in-law was embarassed at his mother's occupation as a cleaner.
Bloody daughter-in-law. I certainly would not want to marry that kind of woman. If my future wife were to ever expect me to evict my mother, I would far rather divorce her first.
And what of the son himself? He would prefer to listen to his wife rather than shelter his own mother who worked so hard and made so many sacrifices to put him through medical school?
Bloody ingrate. He will get his retribution. -
I hope his son dump him when he grow old. Too bad newspaper never state his clinic.. if not i sure oneday go there to give him a hell of a scolding..

How come you people are not angry when "you know who tries" to take as much money as possible from people like this? Increase GST, increase bus fares, privatise hospitals... charge maximum for HDB flats..

I also felt very pissed off reading about this kind of people. KNN, become doctor disowned your mum. Stupid daughter-in-law. If I had to chose between my wife and my mother, of course I choose my mother.
TNP shall just list the doctor's name once and for all and let this "person who's tasked with people's lives and concerns" receive the backlash from society. -
