  places tat r open during cny ...
  
  1 Airport ( confirm 1)
  2 police stations (lanlan suck thumb mus open)
  3 Army camps (guard duty)
  4 7-11 ,mcd ,kfc, cinemas , k box (alt form of food n entertainmt)
  5 hospitals ( A&E only i think)
  6 malay foodstalls at kopitiams ( they don celebrate cny)
  7 shopping palces like mustafa ( its in little india .. so do u think they care bout cny?)
  8 bus interchanges n mrt stations ( we cant live without them )
  9 starbucks n coffeebean
  10 supermkts .. carrefour ,shop n save , giant

  At least Singapore is not too bad.
  
  Try Christmas in an Angmoh country.
  
  You can almost die if you don't stock up food before hand.
  
  Some supermarkets can close from Christmas to Jan 2.
