a lot of ppl alawys thought mp is very imtp
mp is very impt only when come to the printing of large size paper
or photo -
For me i dont give a damn about technical stuff and bla bla...As long as it takes reasonably good shots, comes out well in the PC and isnt too bulky/looks good..im fine

Nikon Coolpix s8.
Casio Exilim (7.2 MP).
All are within the $400-$500 range.
I do not recommend the Sony T10. It has basically the same characteristics as the Nikon Coolpix s8 - but at $100 higher. -

You should try going for those with Leica or Carl Zeiss lenses if you can. -

i think it is hard to find personal opinions and experiences on google,yahoo and msn... its hard to find the exact market price too.

Ive already looked thru the Nikon S and L series and want to find out some personal thoughts on them... The thread can also be a good one in that people who want to buy cameras can learn how to select one to their own uses. eg. the lens and mp factor brought up.
Not all of us are IT savy pple or Camera geeks... -

Panasonic lor ....leica lense ...some model 28mm

panasonic is richer in color.
canon is sharper in image.
nikon is also sharper in image.
sony is nicer in design.
olympus is value for money.
casio is ????
fujifilm is good in night shot. -

try this...
but if u dont like that...i recommend canon ixus...my old canon ixus 40 is still working fine till now for me...images are sharp and nice...remember to edit and resave ur photos when u upload to com...will reduce the size of the photo quite significantly...frm 1mb + to only a few hundred kbs... -

The shopkeeper once demonstrated a Casio EXILIM model to me. He waved his finger quickly in front of the lens while taking a shot. And the camera actually managed to capture a sharp image of the moving finger. The shutter speed was really that fast.
And the battery life is very good as well. A friend of mine who owns it told me that she hardly has had to recharge it even though she uses it quite regularly.
