student plan - m1 starhub or singtel

Im currently in secondary school and intending to get a new hp.. meaning new plan new phone everything, so i was wondering which plan should i get; starhub, singtel or m1?
from their websites, the free incoming calls shows that it is only valid till 31 Dec 2007.. so what will happen after 31 dec 2007? anyone has ideas?
Example :
only starhub has free incoming calls that is valid till 31 Dec 2008.. but i heard starhub has bad reception etc etc... so i was wondering anyone here could help out by recommending me which plan to get, with the advantages and disadvantages..
like singtel has 500 sms and 500sms more free for students whereby the 500 more is only available to singtel subscribers, whereas m1 and starhub has 500 more free sms that can be sent to all ?

i support starhub...if got cable tv and maxonline can geet 15% off ur handphone bill as well...

i recommend M1 if u got bf/gf whu is using M1 also coz the free calls to 3 M1 friends will realli save a lot of $$ for u

i used starhub powerplay and powervalue100 before..
now im using M1 student plan... free 1000 smses.. but i think 500 for M1 users, 500 for other users..
if u talk more, go get starhub. -
i recommend m1 although i am singtel user
... but seriously m1 has a longer outgoing talktime than singtel... i don't recommend you to choose starhub. no offence to starhubers. -
Using M1 student plan as well.
I changed over from a Starhub plan (forgot which one), which gave me fewer benefits at higher cost.
And not to mention Starhub's reception is pretty poor.
No regrets.

Very happy user from Starhub. The per second billing for calls really saved me lots of money. Reception is very good at my area, very good quality calls, don't know about the other areas.

im using starhub student.
if you take m1 or singtel ah, 500sms to other telcoms nia, no kick leh.
my 1 month sms shoot up to 3-4k i have to pay a lot
starhub got a plan free 3k sms. im hoping they have one for student. -

mine is singtel.. my monthly bill is only $25
but after 3 months will be $ 30/mth

I'm using M1 student plan and i personally think that the benefits they give are much more than what singtel and starhub gives for the same price!
first 5 mins free 3g call to another m1 friend 3g
3 m1 campus call to friend
free incoming call
Since Starhub and Singtel is giving away free incoming call till 2008, i am sure m1 will follow, if not they will lose out most of their customers !
Enjoy choosing ur plan as u need to live on with it for 2 solid years, u dont wanna get ripped off for nothing!

lim pei recommend starhub... i using it for 4 yrs already nvr once got bad reception b4...
summore starhub per second billing leh... and the free stuffs more attractive.
like cable tv, broadband, and such. -

Either Starhub or M1 ba.. most importantly get the plan that suits your usage.. not the plan that looks good!! So many consumers seem to make that mistake!

why u all said starhub "signal" poor due to more people starhub than m1.their technology not as good as singtel k -
I'm using M1, switched over from Singtel last year.
Their reception was fine, cost saving if you've friends using M1 line cause there's this 3 free calls thing to use once your monthly minutes is being used up. -
M1 for sure more free talk time
