can anyone recommend any cheap hostels or ryokan in tokyo for 4 ppl? our budget is below SGD60 per person per night. preferably japanese style rooms and near train stations! >"<
really panicky now as we can't seem to find anywhere to stay during 28 march to 2nd april already....arrrghhh.
also, what train passes do you recommend we purchase if we are only going to be around harajuku, shibuya, shinjuku, ikebukuro and perhaps akihabara? we are also going to disneyland and ghibli musuem.
thanks in advance!

oh...you have replied too late...>"<Originally posted by mochi_cake:if u don't have a lot of luggage to hog around, then i recommend staying at some of japan's common-place lodging (besides ryokan). they have the capsule hotels (3000 - 5000 yen per person), the oedo onsen at odaibai is another popular night stay, where people can can go for outdoor onsen and overnight stay(5000 yen). all don't need bookings. these experiences are quite unique. else there are quite a number of good japanese budget hotels (such as alpha-1) which goes for 5000 yen per person per room. yahoo japan offers a good avenue for these searches (but they are in nihongo)
