Hmm... ill be staying at my uncle's house, so free lodging for me![]()
Whiteman Park and its vintage car display seems like a good choice. If you like fishes, try Aquarium of WA in Hillarys.Originally posted by sand king:Which beaches and Parks should i visit?

You could also rent a car and drive down to Mandurah or up to Yanchep.

Hey, I am going there too from 16-Apr to 23-Apr, 7 days free and easy. Haha... I am also looking for nice tourist spots and good eateries too.
I will share what I've planned for my family which consists of 2 very small kids. So far, my planned iternary is
Day 1
>> 5 hrs flight to Australia (morning flight? not confirm)
>> no touring around; just relax in hotel and vist at local shops (Lakeside shopping city) for necessities; driving familiarization for myself in MPV.
Day 2
>> Morning : Rottnest Island; Relax at the beach with the kids playing sand/kite flying at the beach. Take boat from Hillary Harbour.
>> Afternoon : Perth City Tour
Day 3
>> Morning : Perth Mint
>> Afternoon : Scitech - sth like Science Park (may change to farm visit) you may want to relook your Day 3 itenary. Perth Mint and Scitech are not worth the trouble really. You can consider Caversham Wildlife park and zoo (splendid for your kids - interact with joeys, koala, wombats, etc) in the morning and spend the rest of the day in Swan Valley.
Day 4
>> Join day tour for visit to WaveRock + Aborigine very long bus trip. be physically prepared. Not good for kids.
Day 5
>> Join day tour to Kalbarri (not sure of the specific activities; but have activities 2 hr treking, whale and dolphin watching; Fishing Kalbarri) don't think it is the whale watching season in Apr. Journey to kalbarri is long and tiring as well. not advisable to conquer Waverock and Kalbarri back to back. Extemely not good for kids. To swim with dolphins, go 45mins south to mandurah, or 90mins south to Bunbury.
>> If Kalbarri trip is not ideal will change to Farm Visit, alternative is to drive up to visit the wine farm at M???(can't remeber place)
Day 6
>> Morning : Frementle
>> Afternoon : Picnic at Kings Park (their national park) not a national park. its just the park right in the heart of perth city. but a good place for picnic.
Day 7
>> Return to Singapore (time not confirmed)
I've heard about other nice places to visit like the Pinnacles which is a very nice place to go but which I've kept out because I thought it is not suitable for my 2 little kids.
Do they look at IC?Originally posted by iveco:Going wine-tasting in Henley Brook is also a good idea.![]()
