recently i managed 2 find a rather nice room to rent. I accepted it, paid a deposit and will move in this month end. The landlord is a divorcee is his 30s. He is a nice chap but he has been constantly sms me and asking me out. I feel uncomfortable about this as i have not move in like this liao wat if i move in liao
BTw he is seriously not my type .how ar -
take back the deposit and find a new place..

Hard to find a place you like...but then there's a remote possibility that
the landlord may turn nasty once u rejected him....
Things could be worse if u got bf and the landlord is those jealous/possessive/physco type
If you seriously feel threatened or uncomfortable..perhaps u might want to move on....forget abt deposit if u have to

Must never rent a room from a man. Dangerous.
Tenancy agreements always mention that tenants will be free of disturbance and interference from landlord. U can sue him if he continue to harass you.
SMS him direct to say that u will move out immediately if he continue to harass u. Tell him that your boyfriend dislike. Can go see MP, police, lawyer if he continue to harass you. -
