  You've just returned from Mars? Since Sinn Fein was brought into the negotiations, culminating in the Good Friday Agreement being brokered (with the aid of the Clinton administration), there generally hasn't been too many upheavels (well, discount the odd incident like Omagh)...
  
  Anyway, back to the question posed in the thread. I can't see myself choosing anything besides being an American or a Swiss (in fact, I'd love to be both) if I were ever given the choice...
