DIY Hair dyes...

  I bought a bottle of Hoyu DIY hair dye. Is there any steps i should go about doing? I am afriad i would mess up or something...
  
  I went searching for the info online and they said there are rish of you color appearing patchy or a different color from what you expect...and thick hair might require 2-3 bottles of the solution?

  juz mix the 2 solution shake shake then apply on hair la nth will go wrong one..
  then the solution will feel abit warm warm like tat cuz of the reaction..
  
  careful not to stain ur bathroom,sink,forehead,neck etc...

  my exp with DIY hair dye is waste money waste time
  cos no color one.

  Cut a hole in a newspaper and pull it over your head before you start so there is less risk of stain on your clothes. Better if you got a big plastic bag.
  
  The colour may appear different from what is seen on the bottle or model depending on a number of factors such as the thickness/texture of your hair, the natural colour itself etc. Even if you colour your hair at a salon, you won't get exactly the same colour you see on the sample.

  is it possible to do highlights with DIY dyes.. the outcome..think not very nice..

  I don't think that's advisable, and it's quite impossible to do it yourself.
  1) You can't have good views of your back/sides (not backside! )
  2) Your hands would be aching by the time you finish
  3) You will take a longer time then by a "professional", so you'll confirm end up with different shades of highlights all over.
  
  Unless you have someone to do it for you, but then again, you can't blame anyone if the results are not satisfactory?
