Truthfully speaking, both the parents & the education system & the society at a whole are at fault. Our society, or I should say the Asian societies are too conservative. Conservative is ok, we shouldn't be conservative for the sake of being conservative. This is the drawback of being conservative, in the end we got is a girl who was pregnant at 9 yrs old.From the newspaper article:The girl's parents taught her how to use a sanitary napkin but didn't educate her about menstruation or sex. I urge every parents who is reading this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do not withhold any information if ur children ask about any questions related to sexuality. Being conservative & withholding the information won't help. ALL OF U MUST BE OPEN ABOUT QUESTIONS RELATING TO SEXUALITY!!! PLEASE DO NOT RELATE SEX WITH PORN, IT IS NOTHING WRONG TO KNOW ABOUT OUR OWN BODIES!!! And I also recommend that formal sex education must start right from the nursery or the kindergarten. -

Maybe all school should do like this:
- Educate them the reproductive system
- Understand the use of protections
- Legal age for sex
- Who to have sex with
- Signs of pregnant
- Debates for questions on sex.
I think this should be done on a annual basis. Although sex education are usually taught by the CME teachers. But most of the teacher just go through this topic without going into detail. Teacher usually convert the CME lesson to other more useful lesson like math etc. -
