  Qing Dynasty f.ucked up China, I bloody big palace just for the Emperor, waste of land space and he got dunno how many bloody wives and concubines. Just a waste of taxpayers money.

  dont know about Qing Dynasty, but the Forbidden Palace was built during Ming Dynasty

  as for so big a palace, the biggest palace in the world was Weiyang Palace build by Emperor Gaozu of Han Dynasty, 6 times the size of Forbidden City and 11 times the size of Vatican
