  Er this my 1st post in Sgforum.
  
  I wanna enquire on whether is it wrong to be with someone tat got the same surname as you?
  
  Coz i heard ppl saying that if u get married with someone that have the same surname as you, the child you give birth to will get Defects?
  
  I need constructive answer..

  I think they test your partner and your DNA to see whether ok or not.

  Put it this way. Unless the other person is relatively close to you in terms of lineage, sibling, immediate cousins, etc, it is unlikely that anything bad will come out of it.

But you must remember after the knowledge and the percentages, its will become and live probability demonstration at the end of it, so simply put, shit might still happen.
