Sakyant - Magical Tattoos of Thailand

Throughout history, it has been believed by Thais that tattoos were protective symbols which all men should bear to ward away harm from their enemies. It is also believed that tattooing is the start of entering manhood. The ancient Siamese soldiers strongly believed that these magical tattoos have defensive power while fighting their enemies. Sakyant is the spiritual process of tattooing these magical symbols onto the body. The process is painful and unbearable, but the result is incredible and beyond belief.
Anyway, I have heard that there is a shop in Yishun somewhere near blk 928 known as Dingyi Tai Fo Hang who often inviting gurus from Thailand to do such tattoos. Anyone of you know been there before? Care to share your experience if you happen to be one of these fellas who have such tattoos?
