Eh...just received the news that i went into architect course...Though i liked it , I still prefer business course...I got an L1R4 of 15 , so i think i cannot make it into any of the business course , however , if CCA points can be used , then my L1R4 would be 13.. so , my question is , can CCA points be used in Polytechnic application?? thanks alot.
My result:
Eng:B4 | Combined Humanities:C6 | Mathematics:B3 | A Maths:B3 | Biology:C5 | Combined Science:A2 | Chinese:B3 |
don't think so.
only for JC.
TS post your score here.. English must be 1~6, CH must be 1~6.
You got an L1R4 of 15
I got an L1R4 of 16
Yet I got accepted into Biz at NYP, with 1 bonus CCA pt deducted.
Becomes 15.
But if you have 1 or 2 pts deducted, wouldn't u also go into biz?
So maybe you put Architecture first or what?
i didn't put NYP's course in my choice cause it is pretty far from my house... i only put SP's and NP's..
yes..in the sense that u appeal then u use cca point..smth i just found out ...
can.
A1 and A2 minus 2 points.
B3 to C6 minus 1 point.
CCA points cannot be used for deduction into poly courses. Only in appeal in cases then they look weigh your academic results + CCA record against other appeal in cases.
good luck though
Applicants who meet the minimum entry requirements for admission to a Polytechnic course and have done well in CCA will receive bonus points when being considered for admission into their chosen course of study at the polytechnics.

i think only if u made it thru the stated COP then only the cca points will be used to give u a high chance of entry
is it important to take a CCA in the poly that u r already enrolled in?
what good will it do? can we not take and still have the chance to go uni?
or is it CCA is only important to apply in a poly?
