Somehow i feel dat singaporeans nowadays are gettin more and more demanding.
wat lead me into thinkin dat way is the fact dat they are complaining alot nowadays.
the generation of our parents are such dat they accept wateva happens and dun say anythin at all and do wat they are told to do.
the generation now is dat we need a reason to be told wat to do and complain wateva happens.
the older generation cn take any hardship they are given, whereas the generation now complain abt every little thing.
seems dat my generation(born 1985) is in the middle of the change in attitude, for me i accept wateva comes in my way but needs some reason in for doin it. those born after 1980s or after 1985 changed to b more demandin and complainin alot.
is it bcos of the way they are bred? the way they are taught?
correct me if i'm wrong. it's botherin me hw singaporeans change until like dat.

This is coz we have entered an era of Information... Everyone received high ranking education and are way smarter... So, its only common knowledge to be asking why they need to do something... Complaining is a person's way of showing their dissatisfaction... People don't want to be dissatisfied and if there is a way to change that, they want to see it done... do you rather live with hardship or complain a little and see if something can be done to make it easier...

agree.
and i think as the age goes younger, the demand for good reason increases, otherwise they will seek other routes.
and i say this by how i was trained in the army and how i had to train others. i guess its the different ways children are being brought up now. as sg develops, the people here get better educated and thus resulting things to be learnt by the logical and easy way instead of the hard and 'go think about it' way. -
this dont only apply to young Singaporeans.
same go to the young china-nese, Taiwanese, American ,japanese..etc -
when i was a child, i never knew what is internet at all, when i learn about windows, that time, it was windows 3.1, nowadays kids, even those born in 1985, are too fortunate already

i think those people who stomp or stomp something, are merely complain king, and simply had nothing to do at all

they mixed "Feedback with Complains" together...
correct? haha...
cos some or most places ask ppl for feedback but ppl always think of the negative thoughts only and complain. they forgot dat feedback also include gd points. -

Since when have Singaporeans not been complaining.....? We are the most skilful in kpkb in the whol of Asia and possibly the whole world. Not convinced? Just go visit Whinehouse and speaker's Corner. Full of lame shee-it...... and it seems like lots of them are from your generation de wor!

but i dun wanna trouble myself correcting the fault...
so i open my mouth and complain...
hoping somebody will do it for me...
this is so typical of singaporeans...
my maid hurt herself while tryin to climb home when she found herself locked out...
whose fault...? security guard... because he didnt question the maid when she ran out in the middle of the night...
my kid hit his head against the railing when he is running ard the foodcourt...
whose fault...? designer's fault for designing a dangerous railing...
my kid fell while and cut himself while playing in the open fountain...
whose fault... the management's for allowing kids to play there...
blah blah blah...
we can win the guiness world of records for having the weirdest complains... -
