  No you are making retarded assumptions - coming from an person who can only place an illogical argument. You already implied on your lack of compassion or conscience in mentioning how dogs and cats can be kicked around. Either it is family upbringing or it's extreme psychological illness that of a sociopath or a psychopath . The latter being the worse so I rather assume the former of a person who can make such an unconscienable statement.
  
  People who pick on animals who never did bother them and are too weak to defend themselves are nothing but cowardly bullies. Bullies are poorly bred human beings who choose to kick an animal deliberately out of their way because they feel like having power and control over something , just like rapists. And most serial killers start with torturing a small animal as well - control factor again.
  
  Ants are killed because they either bite , irritate by crawling all over your , spread disease by walking all over your food in the plate, or by accident because you cannot see them. However animals like cats or dogs are clearly visible - and most feral animals will rather avoid humans than go near them unless you are talking about a predator who sees you like a piece of meat , i.e. a lion.
