where to purchase diamond ring

Diamond is a lady's best friend.
I have no idea about the different types.
Erm ladies,
may I ask which is the smallest type; something like 1 carat? Would be nice if someone can elaborate on the many types available in the market ..
There are many jewellery shops around, & I wonder where is the cheapest place to buy a diamond ring? -

i saw a few that cost $1k+, considered very beautiful to me.
Taka jewellery may be cheaper, but the quality no good. -
1 carat is going to cost you alot..............

actually $1k can't even get u 0.5 carat i think..
u go see and compare, their diamond wun shine, looks yellowish in fact.
diamonds comes in a few grades. -
i got one white 18k gold ring(size 16) with a beautiful garnet crystal in it... original price at $750...now letting go at $400.... call me at 81832600 if interested... brand new...

Then you have to chips of diamonds which comes in points.
Diamonds are assessed based on cut, clarity, carat and color. I think they are 2 more but I forgot.
Better to buy solid 1 carat than chips of diamonds placed together to make it 1 carat.
And frankly I prefer burmese rubies than diamonds. They are actually more valuable than diamonds. If a guy wants to give me an engagement ring - it better be a real burmese ruby . -

Has to be flawless (IF to FL) , colourless (D to F or if you want rare exotics it will be Z) and master cut aka excellent. And you better know how to check . Inflection angles from the cuts must be damn balanced because it is related to the brilliance the diamond gives out.
My solid diamond 0.50 carat is a V VS2, Grade E, good cut ( bloody jeweller/diamond cutter did not do an excellent job). It goes for about AUD$1.8k alone for the stone because it is small and because it is not a master cut . With workmanship and the gold , it costs even more.
However if you are looking for a really good jeweller/diamond cutters , I know that Tiffany & Co uses Rand diamonds. Cartel supplier of Rand is always DeBeers. So you can actually request any reputable jeweller to purchase a stone from Rand. Would set you back by a few thousands but their cuts are excellent.
Most unfortunately I cannot afford Rand cut diamonds .... -

Usually jewellers will hike up for profit and workmanship labour etc.
Some diamond stones worth 200 for half a carat are not even worth the money you pay for in the end product.
